The big migratory bird has landed again
19 April 2006:
The DC Association has moved the historic DC-3 airliner (OH-LCH) from winter storage in Vaasa back to Helsinki. The big migratory bird landed at Malmi Airport on Wednesday 19 April, returning once again to her home field from which she flew in the 40's in Aero's livery.
This veteran of the skies was built in 1942 in California and is the only airworthy DC-3 in Finland. As in the previous years, it will spend the summer flying season bringing viewing pleasure to the public in a worthy environment at historic Helsinki-Malmi Airport.
