Club Fournier International, an aviation club dedicated to motor gliders designed by René Fournier, arrived in Finland via Malmi Airport with 16 motor gliders and more than 20 people on Friday 23 July 2004 in the afternoon. After visiting the Customs office, the party took off again towards Hyvinkää.
The numerous motor glider types flown by the visitors offered an interesting extra attraction to the public that had gathered to see the airship "Yokoso! Japan".
